The CD is bootable so you can make the driver disk on a system without an os. I have tried everything and it just won’t work. Have you installed the sata drivers that came with the motherboard? I upgraded to the latest BIOS but that doesn’t make any difference Could someone please help out as I don’t want to be stuck with a hard drive I can’t use Many thanks in advance. Would it be more wise to make it my main boot drive? Do you already have an account? Just a couple of questions. Which also means that at present you certainly don’t want the SATA as your boot drive. Join overother people just like you!

Your name or email address: If yes it will support. If not, then you will need to load the driver. See if your drive is detected without loading a driver. I don’t think it can be done with a usb drive as the usb drivers will not be loaded before sataa windows install.

If one drive is showing up did you mirror them because I believe that is what is supossed to happen it will only show one drive when mirrored.
Go to the make k8vx folder and run the make disk app. Login to post Please use English characters only. When I set the jumpers to 5,6 to limit the sxta of the Sata to it now appears in the Raid Bios, and in the start-up script, but i cannot do anything as there is a notice in “The number of disks in not adequate to create a raid!!! Your name or email address: Yeah, thought it was somehting like that, problem it that is i dont have access to a working floppy, and the drivers are data to big to fit on a floppy anyway, but it wont seem to do it from a flash disk which it recognises and configure on boot up and places it in k88v-x boot order I am running two sata WD drives in raid0 on an asus a8v deluxe mb. Not finding what you are looking for? You need to install the SATA controller drivers using the add hardware wizard. That is a good suggestion also make sure your bios is set.
Saha final step ;- cheers, i didn’t see that yesterday, I’ll give it a go If the drive doesn’t offer this feature, you might consider adding a SATA controller like this one you may be able to find better and cheaper controller cards at your local computer store.
